Has the organiser given you passing times? Type them straight into Vérif. Moy., to the tenth of a second, before or during the ZR. The AVERA works out the averages and paces you on them.
During the recce, the AVERA stores up to 400 points per ZR. In the rally, it recals the total by itself at each point, more accurately than before: the co-driver keeps their eyes on the road-book. And to go further, a whole page of fine settings: fixed correction, GPS lag, shift of the points or of the clock, new ZR length announced at the last minute.

Yes. The AVERA 1 is a tripmaster and pacer that complies with the regulations of regularity events in France and across Europe. In Belgium, it is allowed without a GPS module. Always check your event's supplementary regulations regarding the use of GPS.
The time sheet: up to 199 lines to the tenth of a second in Vérif. Moy., to be typed before or during the ZR. The typed times take priority and the AVERA works out the averages from them. Version 4.1 keeps everything that 4.0.0 brought: 400 GPS points per ZR, screen in 4 languages, finer and adjustable GPS recal.
Yes, all AVERAs (made since 2022). The firmware is updated from your PC with the connection cable and the AVERA PC software v3.3, without sending the unit back. If your AVERA is on version 3.x with a GPS module or a recal remote control, they move to version 4 at the same time: contact us and we will guide you. Then redo your recces, or send them again from the PC.
The wheel probe measures the distance actually travelled: it is the reference for open-road regularity. The M8N GPS probe measures the distance by satellite and replaces the wheel probe; it is easier to install. The GPS recal module, on the other hand, does not replace the probe: it automatically recals the trip on the points of the recce. For VHRS and closed roads, we recommend both: wheel probe plus M8N or M9N GPS module.
Both show whether you are early or late compared with the average. The 9-LED gives an instant reading, the 23-LED a finer reading, to the nearest metre, appreciated by crews aiming for zero.
